  What is Insulated Glass? Insulated Glass or double glaze unit is defined as a combination of two glass panels resulting in one glass panel. The type of glass used in the exterior of insulated glass can be tinted, one-way mirror or solar control and the one towards the interior is clear glass. This combination and the thickness can vary as per the requirements. In the centre of these two glasses is an aluminium spacer which consists of small holes and zeolite/molecular sieves. These aluminium spacers are held together in between the glass units by using futile tape. The frame of the spacer is slightly smaller in size as compared to the frame of the glass.
